Eideticom’s NoLoad U2 is the storage industry’s first NVMe compatible scale-out accelerator in a U.2 form factor and utilizes energy-efficient FPGAs from Xilinx deployed on the U2 hardware platform provided by Nallatech.

Companies enable a new-generation of storage performance for the OpenPOWER eco-system based on open-standards at PCIe Gen4 speeds.

Calgary, Canada – March 12th, 2018 – Eideticom, IBM, Rackspace and Xilinx are pleased to demonstrate the Eideticom NoLoad™ NVM Express (NVMe) Computational Storage acceleration platform running the NVMe protocol at PCIe Gen4 speeds in a Rackspace BarrelEye G2 POWER9-equipped system, doubling performance compared to other systems in production today. This announcement enables Rackspace, IBM and other Open Compute and OpenPOWER system vendors to avail of the next generation of storage and compute acceleration performance leveraging the industry-exclusive PCIe Gen4 capabilities of IBM's POWER9 processor, Rackspace’s server, Xilinx’s FPGA technology and Eideticom's NVMe-based accelerator products.

Calgary, Canada – January 15th, 2018 – Eidetic Communications Inc. (Eideticom) announced it is collaborating with Broadcom Limited on NVMe over Fabrics (NVMe-oF) with TCP/IP transport. The platform provides disaggregation of compute and storage resources by allowing Eideticom’s NoLoad™ NVMe accelerator to be accessed and shared across the network using standard TCP/IP transport protocols. Utilizing Broadcom’s highly-optimized BCM58800 NetXtreme® S-Series storage target SoC to support NVMe-oF with RDMA and TCP/IP, the solution optimizes throughput, power consumption and cost for scale-out storage applications.
